The Premium Institute of Bartending School Lewisville campus recently installed a new Cartel Point of Sale (POS) System!  The system is fully functional and equipped with software that allows the students to learn to operate a touch-screen POS System prior to completing their Externship.  This skill is highly valued in the bartending industry and allows graduates of The Premium Institute of Bartending to market not only their efficiency in drink preparation behind the bar, but their ability to operate industry standard equipment and software.  Based on feedback from hiring bar managers, they communicated that they would be more willing to hire a bartending applicant that has experience with a POS System over one that does not.  Many times, during the bartending student's Externship, they receive the opportunity for additional practice exposure to a POS System as well.

The Premium Institute of Bartending Schools are the ONLY bartending schools in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex that offer an Externship Program.  The Externship Program is a beneficial part of the bartending program because it allows all bartenders the opportunity to work behind a real bar at a local hotel, club, sports bar, restaurant, and/or event prior to graduating from the bartending school.  This hands-on bartending experience is added to the bartender's resume.  Many times, the bartenders are offered a job at the establishment they complete their externship.  At the least, the bartender gains a personal reference and the opportunity to pick up on-call bartending shifts as the Job Placement Coordinator assists the graduate with other job placement opportunities.  Prior to enrolling at any other bartending school, make sure that you ask if they offer an Externship Program, and if not, DON'T ENROLL with them before learning more about the benefits of our Exclusive Externship Program.
