Dallas Bartending School Training

Clock Hours: 34 Hours

Dallas Fort Worth Bartending Course Description:

The Premium Institute of Bartending program provides a hands-on environment that allows the students the opportunity to learn the skills of bar tending using official bar equipment, bottles, and drink recipes.  The program includes a mix of lecture and lab courses.  The students learn the art of mixology by preparing frozen drinks, layered drinks, and specialized cocktails, speed and efficiency in preparing drinks, bar operations, and the knowledge of beers and wines.  The skills learned in this course prepares students for careers in the bartending industry as bar tenders, waiters, bar backs in restaurants, dance clubs, bars, and hotels as well as the skills to work as independent bartenders for special events and parties.

The Premium Institute of Bartending provides a learning environment that promotes professional development in presentation, resume writing, and communication skills.  The graduates have the opportunity to receive their TABC certification upon completion of the course.  The students graduate with quality bar tending skills and the ability to immediately step into a career in their field with a Certificate of Completion in Bartending.

Bartending Externship Description:

The Premium Institute of Bartending is the only bartending school in the DFW area that requires every student complete a 2-hour Externship at a local bar or restaurant prior to graduation.   The Externship Coordinator schedules each student an Externship Site based on the type of environment that the student wants to work in after graduation, the current needs of the site, and the student's availability.  This allows you to learn more than the abc's of bartending.

By participating in the bartending externship, you will gain the following:

  • Bartending experience prior to graduation
  • Increase your confidence level prior to gaining bartending employment
  • The ability to interact with paying customers while you are behind a "real" bar
  • Learn to operate POS systems
