The Premium Institute of Bartending School Overview:

The Premium Institute of Bartending Schools were founded by David and Rikki Phillips.  Prior to opening the schools, we researched other Bartending Schools as well as talked to over 20 bar and restaurant owners.

With that in mind, we built our Bartending Schools to simulate a real bar.  During class, we set the mood to make you feel like you are in a real bar by turning on track lighting, dimming the over-head lights, and playing music.  This helps create the chaos and distractions you will be faced with on the job.  As real as we make the bartending training, it is still different than the real thing, so we added the On-the-job Training/Externship Program to help get you behind of a real bar BEFORE you graduate. 

We create a professional resume for you designed to market you towards the type of establishment that you are interested in working.  In addition, our Professional Development Class, Success Strategies, was designed to help you learn how to interview for Bartending Jobs to ensure you are fully prepared to enter the field of Bartending.

We asked the Dallas Bar/Restaurant Owners what skills they would like to see in Bartending Graduates and this is what they said:

Our entire Bartending Curriculum is built around these three components.  You will learn to use two hands while making drinks, learn to minimize the number of steps to complete multiple drink orders, learn to accurately pour from ¼ ounce to 3 oz’s of liquor, and learn the proper fill levels of the different glassware as well as all the Garnishes that go with the cocktails.
